Breagha's founder and designer, Mairead, originally comes from the Outer Hebrides of Scotland but now resides in Glasgow. Her Gaelic heritage is very important to her, hence the name Breagha, which is Gaelic for beautiful. Although her traditional roots are quite strong, she has a love for contemporary design - a combination that is reflected in her work.
