Hannah Zakari is a one woman operation owned and run by me, Rachael Lamb.
Originally I started Hannah Zakari as a way to get my own line of jewellery and bags out there. I decided to expand the store when I saw how much great stuff there was being made by other like minded designers that was a bit different to the stuff you see in high street shops and a bit harder to get hold of! Now Hannah Zakari stocks jewellery and accessories from talented independent designers from the UK and abroad.
My aim with Hannah Zakari is to promote smaller, independent brands as an alternative to mass produced high street items. I love seeking out new, eclectic, and unique designs and know how much a great accessory can say about your own personality and style. Every item on Hannah Zakari is made or selected with this in mind, and all of the designs that you will find here are created with love and care by talented and artistic people who enjoy making the items as much as you will enjoy wearing them!
The name 'Hannah Zakari' is taken from the japanese 'hanazakari' which means 'blossom' and was chosen as I started the company soon after a spring trip to Japan.

One of the many advantages to buying independent is that everything is quality controlled by the designer themselves. All of the jewellery and accessories on Hannah Zakari are handcrafted with care and the utmost attention to detail.
When using semi precious and vintage items it can be near impossible to match items identically and I feel these differences add a certain charm to each piece. Every effort is made to represent items accurately in product pictures, but as no two items are identical, please allow for some small variation in the shape, size and colour of each piece.
